After a long journey up that involved a couple of detours on the M6 toll we arrived at our hotel full of the excitement of a night away and the prospect of what was about to come.
On arrival at the venue we were greeted with champagne and directed through to the main hall where the scene was set for a great show. With just the right amount of mood lighting, music and stunning layout we took to our seats and eagerly waited for the catwalk to begin.
And WOW we weren't disappointed.
The catwalk opens with the most amazing video (soon to be shown on our facebook page) and the models take to the runway.
The dresses are just stunning and we are seeing all the shapes our brides from Brides and Bustles Wedding boutique love, from Ball-gowns to Fit & Flares, and Fishtails.
The lace is heavier than previous years which makes it really stand out and the mix of fabrics has been well thought out. We are in love with the flow of the dresses and how the trains glide down the runway, perfection for any aisle on your wedding day.
But it isn't just the front of the dresses that are wowing us this year, the backs are to die for (literally).
Each dress has a back detail that will have you wishing you had eyes in the back of your head. With a range of illusions backs that show lace detail at its best other backs are encrusted with back necklaces and jewels.
For the fashion forward brides out there this collection is for you. Sottero & Midgley have brought a timeless elegance to their collection whilst keeping it current and desirable.
We cant wait for the new collection to arrive in the boutique soon.
